The choir now consists of 10 singers, including three alto, one tenor and two bass, although we rarely manage to have a full choir due to members’ other activities. Our repertoire is varied, covering anthems from the middle ages to modern day composers.
A singer’s commitment includes a choir practice for 90 minutes (maximum) on a Wednesday evening, one Eucharist service every Sunday morning, one Evensong per month, and an occasional extra service at major seasons of the year.
We always welcome new singers to the choir, so perhaps it is a Ministry you could be part of: it is not necessary to be an expert musician, just to enjoy singing.
