Following the success of the original Team Pilgrimage, this has now become almost an annual event and in 2007, (the sixth pilgrimage, after a break of two years due to the interregnum), a Pilgrimage to Iona was arranged.

The Pilgrims left St. Mary's Church at 9am on Friday, 13th July, and returned at 9pm on Sunday 22th July, after a very enjoyable visit to the holy island of Iona - even with a two-day coach trip each way!

In 2009, there was a Team Pilgrimage to Santiago di Compostela during May.

In 2010 there have been two outings, a Team Pilgrimage to Oberammergau at the end of May ,and a local trip to St. Albans Abbey in July when members of St. Mary's joined the Annual National Pilgrimage.

For May 2011, a Team Pilgrimage to the Holy Land is being arranged.

Weekend Pilgrimage to Walsingham

shrine logo There was a second Pilgrimage in 2007 - over a weekend in July, to the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham in Norfolk and a brief report can be seen here.

This pilgrimage was repeated in 2008 and 2009, organised as a Team Event.
